Are Birthing Centers Licensed in Texas?
Yes, birthing centers are licensed in Texas. They’re required to be licensed by the state in order to provide medical services to their patients.
Licensed birthing centers must meet safety regulations, have specialized staff, and be adequately equipped to provide care for both mother and baby.

Are Midwives Licensed in Texas?
Yes, midwives are licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. In order to practice, they need to meet certain educational, experience, and examination requirements.
